I told you that you would seeing the images from NC ECHO. This is the Frederick Woodard Grammar School. A gentleman came in recently from California who went to this school as a child. He was disappointed that the school had been demolished and wanted to see a picture of it. Unfortunately I did not have access to the image at the time. But now, thanks to NC ECHO, I have found the image. So hopefully that fellow, who did not leave his name, can see the picture right here.
The metadata on the picture states that the contributing institution is…Wilson County Public Library. I have a feeling it is in the unmarked picture drawer that my predecessor created for scanned pictures.
